All first-time users of the SciFinder must register and create a user name and password before accessing the database. Registration is restricted to Clarion University faculty staff and students and requires:
- A valid clarion.edu e-mail address
Example: email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Once you have registered for SciFinder, you will receive an e-mail message that includes a link and instructions for completing the registration process. This e-mail should arrive within 30 minutes. You must use the link within 48 hours otherwise, you will need to re-register. Users must agree not to use SciFinder for commercial research.
SciFinder requires a one-time registration and creation of a username/password. You'll need to login with this username and password each time you use SciFinder. If you had a SciFinder account at another institution, you will need to register again and with a new username.
